Taco Salad

Ingredients

Shredded lettuce
Taco Meat:
1 lb. ground beef
1 can black beans
1/4 cup chopped onions
2 TBS Taco seasoning
Optional Salad Toppings:
Tomatoes
Corn
Avocado
Salsa
Sour Cream
Hot Sauce
Ranch
Shredded cheese
Corn Chips (which could include Doritos… YUM!)

Directions

Cook ground beef and onions in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned. Add taco seasoning and black beans. Continue cooking until beans are heated, but not bursting. 
To prepare the salad, begin with the shredded lettuce. Top with Spanish Rice, ground beef and any other toppings that suit your fancy. 
Preparation options:
Combine all salad components in a large bowl, and serve for a large party or family.
Alternatively, prepare in salad bar style, allowing each individual to top their own salad as desired.
