Frozen Watermelon

Do you like to crunch on ice? Better yet, do you love soft ice (you know what I’m talking about if you’ve had it)? Are you a fan of otter pops? Is it sweltering hot outside? Are you in need of a sweet and crunchy treat, or a low carb. snack? Dehydrated? Hate having dripping, sticky fingers?

If you answered “yes” to any of those questions, TRY THIS!

Ingredients:

Watermelon

Directions:

Cut the watermelon into 1/2 inch cubes (no larger than grapes – trust me on this, bigger cubes aren’t so great for eating). Put the cubes in a colander and allow all the extra juices to drain out (you could save them and use them when making Fruitsicles!). Place the drained cubes in a sandwich bag or other container. Freeze for  about 3-4 hours. Ready, set, snack!
