Avocado Caesar Dressing

Here is a great and healthy alternative to your normal Caesar dressing. Fresh, and without all the normal add-in’s that you can’t even read on the dressing ingredients list. Plus… it’s green (I know it’s hard to tell in the picture)! Good for those Leprechauns you know…
I am always finding myself with romaine lettuce in my fridge and a Caesar salad in the making. This is a great dressing to use, and it would be good no matter what you put on your salad, from chicken to cheese to lemons. 


1 avocado
1/2 of a lemon, juiced
6 oz. plain Greek yogurt
1/2 cup Italian blend cheese 
1/3 cup water
1/4 cup olive oil
2 TBS mayo
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp salt


Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit and scoop the flesh out. Put the avocado in a blender and cover with the lemon juice. Add the remaining ingredients, except the cheese. Blend until smooth, adding more water if you want it to be more thin. Stir in the cheese by hand. Serve immediately, or store in the refrigerator.
