Culture Corner

Growing up my mom did “Cultural Night” on a regular basis. This usually meant one night a week we would learn about the customs, culture and cuisine of a specific country. Of course, this included making the recipes and trying them out! This sprouted my love of foreign food, which has only continued as I have gotten older. I am confident that God used my mom to prepare me and help me love foreign cultures and food so that when I met my husband I would have little troubles jumping into his culture. My husband is Nigerian, and has introduced me to the wonderful Nigerian way of life and food. He has also asked me to cook food from his home. Trying these new recipes has only increased my passion for trying new things! So this page is dedicated to cuisine from around the world!
